Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to Vote in 2024 Regional Elections
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will vote in the 2024 regional elections at Polling Station 08 in Bojong Koneng Village, Babakan Madang, Bogor Regency, West Java. He will participate in the West Java gubernatorial election and the Bogor regent election.
Bogor Acting Regent Bachril Bakri stated that the Bogor Regency Government is preparing essential services at the polling station. This includes an ambulance, medical personnel, and public toilets. A security post is also being set up near the President’s residence.
“I inspected the location yesterday, and I plan to visit again on Tuesday (November 26) for finalization,” said Bachril on Sunday, November 24, in Cibinong.
Four pairs of candidates are running for the West Java gubernatorial election:
- Acep Adang Ruhiat-Gitalis Dwinatarina (PKB)
- Jeje Wiradinata-Ronal Surapradja (PDIP)
- Ahmad Syaikhu-Ilham Habibie (NasDem Party, PKS, PPP)
- Dedi Mulyadi-Erwan Setiawan (Gerindra Party, Golkar Party, Democratic Party, PAN, PSI)
In the Bogor Regency head election, two pairs of candidates are competing:
- Rudy Susmanto-Ade Ruhandi (Indonesia Onward Coalition)
- Bayu Syahjohan-Musyafaur Rahman (PDIP)
