JAKARTA – The Governor of Jakarta, ⁣pramono Anung, has ⁤dismissed Amirul wicaksono, the Director of Data Technology at bank ⁢DKI, following a service⁣ disruption that left customers unable⁢ to conduct⁣ transactions. The outage ⁤began on the evening of March 30, 2025.

Anung announced the decision on April 8, 2025, during a meeting ⁣with the Directors of Bank DKI at Jakarta city Hall. “I⁣ have‍ decided that the IT DirectorS dismissal ‌will be carried out immediately, and it must be ⁣done now,” Anung stated in a video⁣ posted on his Instagram account on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Anung further stated that he would report the case to the Criminal Investigation Police for legal⁤ processing, describing the situation⁣ as “outrageous.”

“Because this is outrageous, it is impossible that insiders are not involved,” Anung said.

He cautioned his staff ‌against interfering in the investigation, emphasizing⁢ the importance of public perception of ⁤the​ Jakarta Provincial Government’s service delivery.

“It ‍is not possible for anyone internal,‌ especially within the Jakarta government, to interfere in this matter.‌ Anyone ​who interferes will face consequences. This is ⁢being done to build ⁣public trust and ensure there ‌is no disturbance ⁤to the public,” he said.

Furthermore, ⁤Anung ‍demanded that ⁢this be the last disruption of Bank DKI’s ⁣IT services. He ‍expressed his expectation that the Regional Advancement Bank (BPD) would be​ ready for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

“This is the last time. There should be no more incidents. If​ possible, Bank DKI should proceed with an IPO.It is impossible to take one and a half years. A maximum⁣ of six‍ months,” Anung said.
