Pizza Dispute Turns Deadly: Pregnant Woman Stabbed 14 Times in Kissimmee Motel

Kissimmee, Florida – A routine pizza delivery escalated into a horrifying home invasion, leaving a pregnant woman hospitalized with 14 stab wounds. The attack,which occurred in a Kissimmee motel room,has sent shockwaves through the community and raised concerns about safety in the popular tourist destination.

The incident began Sunday evening when the woman, who has not been publicly identified, ordered pizza to her motel room. After paying with a $50 bill for a $33.10 order, a dispute arose over the lack of change. Brianna Alvelo, the delivery driver, reportedly expressed displeasure and left without providing change.Later that night, the woman, her boyfriend, and their 5-year-old daughter were awakened by a knock at the door. Upon opening it, thay were confronted by alvelo and an armed, masked man. The man forced the boyfriend into the bathroom while Alvelo ransacked the couple’s belongings.

In a terrifying turn of events, Alvelo then proceeded to stab the pregnant woman 14 times with a pocketknife as she shielded her daughter. The woman, who was in the early stages of pregnancy, suffered a punctured lung and underwent emergency surgery at a local hospital.

Alvelo faces charges of attempted murder, armed home invasion, kidnapping, and aggravated battery with a weapon. She has requested a public defender, stating she cannot afford legal representation. The identity of the male suspect remains unknown.
