IEEE Announces Candidates for 2027 President-Elect Election
Teh IEEE Board of Directors has confirmed Gerardo Barbosa, IEEE Senior Member, and Timothy T. lee, IEEE Life Senior Member, as candidates intending to petition for the 2027 IEEE president-elect position. The candidates are listed alphabetically and have expressed no preference regarding order.
The elected president-elect will assume the role of IEEE president in 2028. Details about both petitioning candidates and those nominated by the Board are available at ieee.org/pe27. IEEE members can sign petitions at ieee.org/petition.
