Benevento, Italy - A free vascular screening program, part of the “Benevento in Salute” initiative, saw a strong turnout on itS second day, underscoring the community’s commitment to preventative health.Over 30 residents took advantage of the free screenings, which included Doppler ultrasounds of blood vessels, conducted by Dr. Venere De Blasio, a vascular surgeon at the Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Benevento.
“The participation has been truly remarkable,” said Luca De Lipsis, the city’s health delegate. “This initiative, in collaboration with the ASL and local hospitals, demonstrates our dedication to the well-being of our citizens.”
The program aims to raise awareness about vascular health and encourage early detection of potential issues.
The next free screening event is scheduled for December 29th at the Pacevecchia neighborhood center.
