Amazon’s annual Prime day event will stretch over four days this year, running from Tuesday, July 8, through Friday, July 11.This marks the first time in 10 years that the Prime Day deals event will last longer than two days. The company made the announcement Tuesday.
Since its debut in 2015, Prime Day has traditionally been a two-day summer shopping extravaganza. Customers can anticipate significant savings across numerous product categories,including electronics and home goods. Some deals will be available throughout the entire sale, while “lightning deals” will appear for limited times, with new offers dropping every 30 minutes.
To participate in Prime Day, shoppers must be Amazon Prime members. A standard Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually. Students can subscribe for $7.49 monthly or $69 per year, with a six-month free trial available to new student subscribers.
