.
Discussions on Fatherhood and Mental Health
As part of a question-and-answer session, Prince Harry discussed his personal journey with mental health and the transition into becoming a parent. He spoke about the necessity of therapy to address past issues in order to be a better parent for his children.

I felt a disconnection because my wife was the one creating life, and I was there to witness it. From a therapy standpoint, you want to be the best version of yourself for your kids. And I knew that I had stuff from the past that I needed to deal with, and therefore prepare myself to basically cleanse myself of the past.

The Duke also addressed the concept of generational improvement, stating that our kids are our upgrade
from his own perspective. He clarified that this did not mean he was an upgrade of his father, nor that his children were an upgrade of him, but rather that children raised in the current world need to be an upgrade given the state of the world.
Prince Harry further shared the difficulties of balancing professional responsibilities with parenting. He recalled that when he returned from work stressed, his son, Prince Archie, would often begin crying the moment he held him. He noted that he is now fortunate enough
to work from home.
Tour Itinerary and Engagements
The visit to the Western Bulldogs marked the second day of a four-day trip to Australia undertaken by Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. While the Duchess did not attend the April 15 event at Whitten Oval, the couple’s itinerary covers sport, mental health, and veterans’ affairs.
On April 14, 2026, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne to meet with children. They also visited the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum (ANVAM) in Southbank, Melbourne.
During his solo stop at the football club, Prince Harry was gifted football jerseys for his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The tour, which some observers have referred to as a faux-royal tour
, has drawn mixed reactions. While the Movember event highlighted the Duke’s passion for men’s mental health awareness, some critics have suggested the trip is intended to bolster the couple’s personal brand and financial standing.
