During the ceremony, Prince Harry delivered a speech addressing veterans around the world, emphasizing the enduring value of their service. I want to say this as one soldier to another: your service matters. What you gave in uniform matters,
the prince stated.
He continued by highlighting the ongoing leadership veterans provide outside of active duty. You may no longer wear the uniform, but you still lead. Every time you get back up, reach back for someone else, or turn what happened to you into purpose for others, you are serving again – just differently,
Harry said.
Family Relocation and Future Invictus Games Context
The London engagement follows recent news that Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are moving from California to the United Kingdom.
