The #2 Princeton University women’s lightweight rowing team won the Class of 2015 Cup against #7 Stanford on April 11, 2026. The competition took place Saturday morning in Redwood Shores, California.

Princeton secured the trophy by winning two of the three contested races. In the 8+ event, the Tigers finished with a time of 6:56.9, crossing the finish line ahead of the Cardinal, who recorded a time of 7:04.4.

The Tigers also earned a victory in the 4+ race, finishing in 7:59.75 compared to Stanford’s 8:09.31. Stanford won the 2x race with a time of 8:20.54, finishing ahead of Princeton’s 8:24.58.

Coaching and Training Progress

Head Coach Paul Rassam described the results as a positive development for the program’s current trajectory. He noted that the athletes have brought great energy and intent to the training and that the team is making progress.

These were some good wins and against some strong looking Stanford boats. This week has been a nice step forward.
