V Week and the V Foundation
V Week, an annual fundraising and awareness campaign, supports cancer research. The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded in 1993 by Jim valvano, the late North Carolina State University basketball coach, shortly before his death from cancer. Valvano’s famous “Don’t Give Up… Don’t Ever Give Up” speech at the 1993 ESPY Awards inspired the foundation’s mission. The V Foundation funds a wide range of cancer research projects across the United states.
Principal’s Commitment
This initiative demonstrates principal’s ongoing commitment to supporting cancer research and promoting employee well-being. The company’s dedication to the V Foundation extends beyond financial contributions, fostering a culture of health and giving back to the community. The 1 million miles logged by employees highlights a meaningful level of engagement and dedication to the cause.
