Prost to the Tropics: Venezuela Gears Up for Oktober Beer Festival 2024, a Taste of Germany in the Caribbean

Colonia Tovar is once again the headquarters of the tradition that celebrates the German community with 3 days of celebration on October 4, 05 and 06 at the famous Hotel Selva Negra where tourism, family atmosphere and the best brands combine with national laws power in Germany for 214 years.

This great German festival starts at 12:00 noon with the opening parade of the production together with the typical dances of Tovarer Volkstanzgruppe, Jarillo Deutschtanzagruppe, Las Krosilis, accordionist of two worlds Eduardo Monroy together with the entertainers Julio Carillo and Juan Smuck with’ open the cask to celebrate the October Beer Festival 2024.

For this edition, a high use of hotels and more than 3,000 visitors per day are expected to the traditional festival, an event that promotes tourism and the economy of the entire municipality of Tovar as in previous events organized by the same production company.

This celebration is rooted in the Oktoberfest, the most popular and important event in Southern Germany and is celebrated every year to commemorate the wedding of Prince Ludwig I of Bavaria and Princess Teresa of Saxony between October 12 and 17 in 1810 in the city of Munich-Germany.
