Thai women between the ages of 30 and 60 can register to receive a free cervical cancer screening kit on the Paotang app. According to the Anti-Fake News Center, this offer is legitimate and has been verified by the Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health.
Cervical Cancer Screening Initiative
The Department of Medical Sciences has established proactive guidelines as part of the cervical cancer screening campaign project. This includes the development of laboratory potential in 15 medical science centers across all regions, covering all health zones nationwide.
The department has also transferred knowledge on cervical cancer screening using the HPV DNA testing method to network agencies in all relevant sectors across the country. Additionally, training has been provided to educate village health volunteers about cervical cancer and how to use the self-sampling kit.
Eligibility and Registration
Thai women aged 30-60 who have never had cervical cancer screening using HPV DNA in the past 5 years are eligible to receive a free self-sampling test kit. The kit can be obtained through the Wallet Application or by contacting the Health Sciences Research Institute for more information.
