Paris Saint-Germain Secures 3-1 Victory Over Rennes in French Football League

Paris Saint-Germain has solidified its position at the top of the French football league with a 3-1 win over Rennes in the sixth round.

With this victory, Paris Saint-Germain now boasts 16 points, maintaining a three-point lead over second-placed Marseille, who are set to host Strasbourg on Sunday.

Rennes, on the other hand, has accumulated seven points, securing eighth place in the league standings.

The match saw Paris take the lead in the 30th minute, courtesy of Bradley Barcola’s goal. Lee Kang-in further extended the team’s advantage with a second goal in the 58th minute.

Barcola scored his second and Paris’ third goal in the 68th minute, while Arnaud Calimondo managed to score a consolation goal for Rennes from a penalty kick in the 75th minute.
