Lyon dominates PSG in Arkema First league Final, securing 18th Title

Lyon defeated Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the Arkema First League‌ final last night, clinching their 18th league title. The match, held ⁤at Groupama Stadium,⁣ saw Lyon dominate⁢ both halves, leaving PSG with ⁢a disappointing end to their season.

Lyon’s Second-Half Surge Seals Victory

The second half began with‍ a series of fouls, disrupting the flow ‍of the ⁤game. though, Lyon maintained⁤ control, and their persistence led to a ⁢second goal in the ⁣80th​ minute. Diani’s shot from the right side of the⁣ box was deflected by PSG’s Paulina Dudek, looping ​over Earps ⁤and ⁤into the net for an own goal, making it 2-0.

PSG struggled to respond, and Lyon sealed their​ victory ‍in stoppage time. Dumornay’s cross resulted in a handball by Dudek inside the penalty area. Following a VAR review, wendie Renard converted the penalty, sending‌ Earps the wrong way and securing a 3-0 victory for Lyon in the 94th​ minute.
