Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to Display Public Power in Lahore
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will display public power in Lahore today, with the district administration granting permission for the rally at Kahanna Road Cattle Market instead of Pakistan Minar with 43 conditions.
The Lahore district administration has given permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to hold a rally in Kahna with 43 terms and conditions, said Deputy Commissioner Lahore.
According to the Lahore Deputy Commissioner, PTI will be allowed to hold a rally in the cattle market on the Kahanna Road side today. The notice of permission for the meeting has been issued.
The meeting should start at 3 pm and end by 6 pm. A clause has also been added to apologize to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur for the harsh language in the meeting on September 8.
The demand for forgiveness from Ali Amin Gandapur is also included in the conditions. The security of the rally will be the responsibility of the organizer.
The Lahore High Court ordered the Deputy Commissioner Lahore to decide on the PTI rally request by 5 pm yesterday.
The organizers will ensure the security of the stage, women’s and men’s fields while adequate parking will be ensured by private security officers and volunteers.
No Afghan flag will be hoisted in the rally, and the rally organizers will nominate focus individuals who will contact Lakh Superintendent of Police and Traffic Police SP.
The conditions also include that no one will be forced to close their business, no one will be allowed to enter the rally venue with sticks while the display of weapons will be strictly prohibited and fireworks will not be allowed to be used.
The organizers along with the district police will install barbed wire at Lahore Ring Road and Kahna and install barbed wire and qanat on the outer wall around the rally.
The organizers will be responsible for the security arrangements in and around the venue of the meeting, in case of any untoward incident the organizers will be held responsible.

PTI workers will leave from Peshawar to participate in the Lahore rally, Prime Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will lead the convoy.
Traders Protest Against Arrests in Lahore
Traders protested against arrests at Origa Center late at night in connection with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf rally in Lahore, with the shopkeepers claiming they were arrested as PTI supporters.
The traders protested by blocking the main road outside Origa center demanding that the traders be released immediately or they would protest again.
Motorway Blocked to Prevent Caravans from Coming to Participate in Lahore Jalsa
The freeway was blocked at Chuch Interchange to prevent the caravans from coming to participate in the Lahore Jalsa.
Former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that if the rally was stopped, the entire nation will protest against the Pakistan Minar.
Imran Khan had said that the rally to be held on September 21 in Lahore, the capital of Punjab, is “R or Par”.
The news also emerged yesterday that an operation was launched against PTI leaders and workers before the PTI rally on September 21 in Lahore and police arrested several PTI workers. Raids were conducted in Ghaziabad, Shahdara, Harbanspora, Defense and other areas in Lahore.
