PTI Unleashes a Bombshell: The Shocking Protest Announcement That’s Got Everyone Talking
PTI Postpones National Protest Scheduled for Friday
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced that the national protest scheduled for Friday will be postponed.
Talking to the media in Islamabad, PTI leader Salman Akram Raja stated that Imran Khan emphasized the importance of the people’s role in shaping the future, highlighting the need to prioritize the well-being and safety of mothers, sisters, and daughters.
He further emphasized that a country without law and order cannot attract development and investment, and those who have falsely occupied power are leading the country astray. In light of this, the PTI has decided to postpone tomorrow’s protest.
Salman Akram Raja confirmed that the PTI rally in Lahore would proceed as planned. Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Bachhar reiterated this stance, stating that the rally would take place in Lahore regardless of whether a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is obtained.
The PTI had initially announced a national protest on Friday in response to the arrest of a member of the National Assembly from the Senedd premises.
On September 9, Islamabad Police arrested PTI members Gohar Barrister Chairman Sher Afzal Marwat and Shoaib Shaheen, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur also facing potential arrest.
On September 12, the Islamabad High Court revoked the 8-day physical remand of the PTI member of the National Assembly.
