Punchestown Meeting Unaffected by Storm Bert: What You Need to Know

Today, Punchestown’s track is ready for racing. Brendan Sheridan, the Clerk of the Course, confirmed that following an inspection, the ground is yielding to soft and soft in places. This comes after receiving 19mm of rain overnight.

The weather forecast predicts an additional 15 to 20mm of rain until lunchtime. However, the afternoon is expected to be mainly dry. Wind conditions are currently manageable and should improve throughout the morning.

Boulta Track Update

The Boulta track is also fit for racing today. It is prepared for the West Waterford Point to Point fixture, with the ground yielding. High winds are present, and officials will continue to monitor the situation.
