Russia ⁢Congratulates Vietnam⁢ on 79th ​National Day Anniversary

On ⁣the occasion of⁣ the 79th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September‍ 2, 1945 – September‌ 2, 2024), ​the leaders of the Russian⁤ Federation sent congratulatory messages and letters ​to the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam.

President of the Russian ⁣Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to⁤ General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President ⁢of ‍the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal ‌Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko and Chairman⁢ of the State Duma of the ​Federal Assembly‍ of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin sent letters and​ congratulatory ⁣messages to ⁢Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man.

Russian leaders assessed that ⁣the Russia-Vietnam⁤ comprehensive strategic partnership, based on fine ‍traditions of friendship and mutual respect, ‌is at a high level, with cooperation in the fields of economy, trade,‍ culture, and promising fields such as industry, energy, science, and ⁤technology, which was ‌affirmed through constructive talks with rich​ content during⁣ the‌ recent ⁣State visit to Vietnam‍ by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian leaders said that deepening cooperation‍ with Vietnam is one of​ the priority directions in the Russian ⁢Federation’s foreign policy in the⁣ Asia-Pacific region; they believe⁢ that with ⁢joint efforts,⁢ the two countries will continue to comprehensively ⁤develop the Russia-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership to meet the core interests of the‍ two peoples, while ensuring security and stability in the ​Asia-Pacific region.
