Russia Congratulates Vietnam on 79th National Day Anniversary
On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2024), the leaders of the Russian Federation sent congratulatory messages and letters to the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin sent letters and congratulatory messages to Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man.
Russian leaders assessed that the Russia-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership, based on fine traditions of friendship and mutual respect, is at a high level, with cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture, and promising fields such as industry, energy, science, and technology, which was affirmed through constructive talks with rich content during the recent State visit to Vietnam by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Russian leaders said that deepening cooperation with Vietnam is one of the priority directions in the Russian Federation’s foreign policy in the Asia-Pacific region; they believe that with joint efforts, the two countries will continue to comprehensively develop the Russia-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership to meet the core interests of the two peoples, while ensuring security and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.
