Russian President Vladimir Putin Meets with Turkish Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş
Russian President Vladimir Putin received the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, who is in Russia for an official visit, in the Kremlin.
The President of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, also attended the meeting from Russia.

Putin Expresses Satisfaction with Türkiye-Russia Relations
Speaking at the meeting, Putin expressed his satisfaction with the development of relations with the Republic of Türkiye in all areas, especially at the parliamentary level. Reminding that he recently met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Astana, Putin said that they will meet again at the BRICS summit to be held in Kazan in October.
While Putin emphasized that the relationship between Türkiye and Russia has developed successfully, especially in the economic and social fields, he also drew attention to the cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries. “We are good neighbors and we work for the benefit of our people and our countries,” Putin said, adding that they would exchange ideas on some issues that need special attention during the meeting.
