Putin Threatens Military Action Against Countries Supporting Ukraine
Moscow – President Vladimir Putin threatens to strike military facilities in countries that allow their weapons to be used by Ukraine against Russia. Putin issued this warning in a speech on Thursday, promising a strong response to any aggression.
“We will identify targets as we conduct further tests of our latest missile systems based on threats to the security of the Russian Federation,” said Putin.
He added, “We believe we have the right to use our weapons against the military facilities of countries that permit their weapons to be used against ours.”
Putin pointed to the actions of the United States, claiming they have undermined international security and heightened global conflict risks. He emphasized that Moscow supports peaceful resolutions and is ready to address all discussed issues.
“However, we are also prepared for any developments. Do not doubt it; there will always be a response,” he stated.
Putin noted that the Ukrainian military has used British-made Storm Shadow missiles and U.S.-made HIMARS missiles to target areas in Bryansk and Kursk within Russia. Reports from various media outlets confirm these attacks.
The Ministry of Defense in Moscow stated that ATACMS missiles have been used in assaults on Bryansk. Both the U.K. and the U.S. have not commented on these reports.
This week, Putin also ordered the implementation of a new nuclear doctrine, declaring that an attack on Russia by a non-nuclear power backed by a nuclear power should be considered a combined attack by both.
