China’s Sports Medicine Institute Emphasizes Reform and Development

The 6th Collective Study (Expanded) and the Third Quarter Discipline Inspection Work Meeting of the Party Committee Theory Study Center Group of the Institute of Sports Medicine of the General Administration of Sports of China was recently held. Party members and cadres of the Institute of Sports Medicine continued to study in depth the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech when he met with the Chinese sports delegation at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games, the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and the requirements of party regulations and disciplines.

Zhang Xia, director and party secretary of the Sports Medicine Institute, emphasized the importance of being guided by the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech. He encouraged continuous deepening of theoretical learning, adherence to the people-centered approach, and scientific planning of the reform and development of the Sports Medicine Institute to promote high-quality development of sports medicine.

The meeting highlighted the significance of using the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech as a driving force for promoting the reform and development of sports medicine. It emphasized the need to adhere to the people-centered approach, leverage the service and guarantee role of sports medicine nutrition in competitive sports and mass sports, and continue to promote popular science publicity. The meeting also stressed the importance of promoting the deep integration of national fitness and national health, contributing to building a strong sports country and a healthy China.

Participants agreed that in promoting the reform and development of sports medicine, the leading role of party building must be utilized, and the vanguard and exemplary role of party members must be leveraged.
