PWHL Vancouver Signs hannah Miller to Boost Forward Line

PWHL Vancouver has added a key piece to its inaugural roster, signing forward Hannah Miller as a free agent.The declaration came Monday as the league’s free agency window opened.
Miller, 29, spent the previous two seasons with the Toronto Sceptres, tallying 10 goals and 14 assists in 29 games last season. Before her time in Toronto, the elite forward played five seasons with the KRS Vanke Rays in China, gaining valuable international experience.
The North Vancouver,British Columbia,native also represented China at the 2022 Beijing Olympics,where she scored the host country’s first goal of the Games. Miller’s international experience and scoring touch make her a valuable asset for the expansion team.
General Manager Cara Gardner Morey expressed her enthusiasm for bringing Miller back to her hometown.”Hannah is an elite forward who can put up points and wear down opponents,” Morey said. “We are excited to bring her home to Vancouver to be part of our foundation.”
“I’m truly honored and very excited to be joining the team in Vancouver,” Miller said. “It means so much to me to represent the city where I first fell in love with the game. It’s a real full-circle moment, and I can’t wait to meet all the fans and get started!”
Miller was selected for Canada’s roster for the 2025 women’s world hockey championship in March but was later deemed ineligible due to International Ice Hockey Federation transfer regulations.
