The New York police Department is investigating a double shooting that occurred Saturday at a store located at 148-18 Jamaica avenue in Jamaica, Queens. The shooting stemmed from a dispute between a customer and two store employees - a security guard and another worker at Great Savings.
According to police reports, the suspect initially left the premises following the argument. He later returned and discharged a firearm, critically wounding a 34-year-old male in the chest and inflicting a gunshot wound to the left leg of a 55-year-old male. The suspect then fled the scene heading north on 149th Street.
