Quick News: Nosferatu’s R Rating, Artful Dodger’s Renewal, and Sonic Movie Updates
Robert Eggers’ horror film “Nosferatu” is set for a Christmas release. It received an R rating due to “bloody violent content, graphic nudity, and some sexual content.” All of Eggers’ previous films—”The Witch,” “The Lighthouse,” and “The Northman”—also received R ratings.
The Artful Dodger
Disney+ and Hulu have approved a second season of “The Artful Dodger,” led by Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The series focuses on characters from “Oliver Twist” living in 1850s Australia. Filming will begin next year in Sydney.
Wuthering Heights
Hong Chau, Alison Oliver, and Shazad Latif will play key roles in Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of “Wuthering Heights.” Fennell previously directed “Saltburn.”
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Paramount Pictures has released twelve new character posters for “Sonic the Hedgehog 3.” The film will be released in theaters on December 20. The posters showcase both human and animated characters, including performances by Jim Carrey, Krysten Ritter, and Idris Elba.
