Quimper to Host Pulse 100% Live Electro Event
QUIMPER, France (April 10, 2025) – the Max-Jacob pole in quimper, located in the Finistère department, will be the epicenter of electronic music on Saturday, April 12, 2025, with the “Pulse 100% Live” event. The event kicks off at 2 p.m. with a showcase for emerging talent.
Springboard for New artists
Gérald Cossard, president of Synchronous, the organizer of Pulse 100% Live, said the springboard event is designed “to find new talents, to allow them to occur under professional conditions.”
Out of 17 applicants from the Brittany region, a jury of professionals and members of the public selected eight finalists. Each finalist will have 25 minutes to perform and impress the judges.
Performances and compilation Album
The top three finalists will perform immediately following the springboard competition at The Boards bar. Synchronous will also invite them to perform again during the upcoming season.
A compilation album, titled “The Compiler,” featuring one track from each of the eight finalists, is available for purchase. The album includes music from Zet Langlais, Tbia, 101, Hylian Fields, Like a Fox in a Kitchen, Lixxa, Kaou Tea, and Earl Nest.
Evening Concert at Novomax
The event continues into the night at Novomax, featuring four established acts from the national and international electronic music scene.
Minimal Syndicat,a duo from Paris,is a headlining act. Cossard described them as “known for its powerful performance mixing techno *old school* Acid House and authentic rave sounds.”
Three artists from the Brittany region will also perform: Faithz, known for live performances combining progressive and melodic techno; Bull, a Quimper veteran; and Gib, who will present a more experimental set.
