A federal judge in Chicago has rejected an emergency request from embattled R&B singer R.Kelly ‍to be released from prison to⁤ home confinement. The decision comes amid claims from Kelly that prison officials are plotting against him.

Kelly, ‍58, is currently serving‍ a 30-year ⁣sentence in a North Carolina prison on racketeering‍ and sex crime charges. Judge⁣ Martha Pacold‍ ruled that Kelly ⁤filed the request in the wrong ⁣court, ‍citing a lack of jurisdiction.

The R&B singer also claims that ⁣federal prison officials plotted with a member‍ of the Aryan Brotherhood to kill him, preventing him from revealing an alleged attempt by officials to intercept mail between him and ‍his attorney during his child pornography case. Prosecutors have dismissed these allegations.

Prosecutors stated in court filings⁢ that “Kelly refuses to accept responsibility for years of sexually abusing children and is ⁢using⁢ this Court’s docket merely to promote himself despite there being no legal⁢ basis to be before this Court.” The case highlights the ongoing legal battles and safety concerns surrounding the
