Rachel Homan, the reigning two-time Canadian and world women’s champion from Ottawa, overwhelmed Kate Cameron of St.Adolphe, Manitoba, with a final score of 16-5.Homan’s team capitalized on key moments, including a draw for three in the third end and a steal of four in the fourth, demonstrating their championship form.
Kerri Einarson, representing Gimli, Manitoba, also secured a commanding win, defeating local favorite Christina black 12-5. Einarson’s team established early control with steals of two in the first end and four in the second, effectively dictating the match’s tempo.

Kaitlyn Lawes of Winnipeg edged out Corryn Brown of Kamloops, British columbia, 7-4, thanks to crucial steals of two in the third and one in the ninth end. selena Sturmay of Edmonton also secured a victory, defeating Kayla Skrlik of Calgary 8-2 with steals in the third and seventh ends.
