Actress Kim Ji-eun Donates 50 Million Won to Firefighters and Their Families
Actress Kim Ji-eun has made a generous donation of 50 million won to the Firefighting Family Hope Sharing Foundation, in support of firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty and their grieving families.
According to her agency, HB Entertainment, Kim Ji-eun made the donation on the 23rd to express her gratitude and respect for the dedication and hard work of firefighters who risk their lives to protect people’s safety and lives.
Kim Ji-eun, who currently stars as paramedic Jeong Mo-eum in tvN’s ‘Mom’s Friend’s Son,’ said, “Through this drama, I was able to see the hard work and sacrifice of firefighters firsthand. I wondered how I could express my gratitude and respect. I decided to donate while I was doing it.”
The donation made by Kim Ji-eun will be used not only to support the grieving families of firefighters who died in the line of duty but also for the “1st 119 Memorial Day” event hosted by the National Fire Agency. The “119 Memorial Competition” is a citizen-led commemorative event that creates a culture of public respect for firefighters who died in the line of duty.
By making this donation, Kim Ji-eun has demonstrated her appreciation for the bravery and selflessness of firefighters and their families.
