Racism Strikes Again: PSG Fan’s Sickening Slur Targets Lee Kang-in with ‘Let’s Go, Chinese!’ Taunt

Lee Kang-in, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in French professional soccer Ligue 1, was once again subjected to racist insults.
Recently, on A video was uploaded showing a person shouting ‘Let’s go Chinese (Allez mon Chinois)’.
It is known that the video was filmed during a fan training session on the 25th.
‘Chino’ means Chinese, and calling Asians Chinese in the West is a racist statement against Asians.

In the video, ‘Lee Kang-in is not Chinese. Comments such as ‘This is Korea’, ‘Respect Lee Kang-in’, and ‘It is truly shocking that racial discrimination occurs at the training ground’ continued.
French local media harshly criticized the soccer fan’s actions in the video.
Soccer magazine Onze Mondial said, “Lee Kang-in received a racist insult from a PSG fan during training. It is a disgusting behavior that cannot be tolerated in soccer.”
In addition, French daily newspaper ‘Ouest-France’ pointed out, “A fan appeared calling Lee Kang-in Chinese. This is an incident that will enrage Paris Saint-Germain fans.”

This is not the first time Lee Kang-in has faced racial discrimination while living in Europe.
In May of last year, when he was playing for Mallorca in Spain’s La Liga, he heard the word ‘Chino’ from his team’s head coach, Javier Aguirre.
Meanwhile, PSG, to which Lee Kang-in belongs, will play an away game against Marseille in the 9th round of the French Ligue 1 of the 2024-2025 season on the 28th.
