The 2024 National Badminton Team Championship will usher in the 1st and 2nd place finals of Group A (Championship Group) men’s and women’s teams at the Fuzhou Strait Olympic Sports Center on November 3. The host Fujian team and the Beijing team met in the women’s team finals, and the Zhejiang team and the Shanghai team met in the men’s team finals. In the end, the host Fujian team won the women’s team championship, and the Zhejiang team won the men’s team championship.

In the first group A women’s team final in the afternoon, Fujian team’s national player Han Yue took the lead as the first singles player. Against Beijing team’s Cai Yanyan, Han Yue won two consecutive games and scored the first point for the Fujian team. In the subsequent doubles, the Fujian team sent out the combination of Huang Dongping/Yan Chenxue to face the Beijing team’s Wang Yiduo/Li Jiajia. The two sides fought hard for three games. The 2024 National Badminton Team Championship will be held from October 28 to November 3. This event is the highest-level badminton event in the country this year.
