Men’s ⁤Singles Competition

The Hong Kong Badminton ‌Open continued on‍ the 12th, with Lei Lanxi upsetting South⁣ Korea’s Quan Yichen in the men’s singles competition. After losing the‍ first‍ match ​at 17:21, Lei Lanxi made a comeback, winning ‍the⁤ next two matches at 21:16 and 21:14, advancing to the quarter-finals. ​He⁢ will compete with Li Zhuoyu from Hong Kong in the semi-finals.

Two-time Olympic ⁤champion Axelsen⁣ from Denmark ⁣also advanced to⁤ the⁣ quarter-finals, defeating Su Liyang⁤ from⁢ the Chinese Taipei team 2-0. His opponent in the next round‌ is Zhou Tiancheng ‍from the Chinese Taipei team.

Women’s Doubles Competition

In the women’s doubles competition, Chinese team players Li Wenmei/Zhang Shuxian and Liu Shengshu/Tan ​Ning defeated⁢ their‌ opponents with a score of 2:0 and advanced to the quarter-finals.

Mixed⁤ Doubles Competition

In the mixed doubles competition, four pairs of Chinese‌ badminton pairs‌ Feng Yanzhe/Huang Dongping, Jiang Zhenbang/Wei Yaxin, Guo Xinwa/Chen Fanghui and Cheng ⁣Xing/Zhang Chi defeated their opponents with a score of 2:0 to enter the semi-final. Jiang Zhenbang/Wei Yaxin will⁤ face Cheng Xing/Zhang Chi in the next⁢ round, sealing a semi-final spot for‍ the ​Chinese team ‌in ‌advance.
