Men’s Singles Competition

The Hong Kong Badminton Open continued on the 12th, with Lei Lanxi upsetting South Korea’s Quan Yichen in the men’s singles competition. After losing the first match at 17:21, Lei Lanxi made a comeback, winning the next two matches at 21:16 and 21:14, advancing to the quarter-finals. He will compete with Li Zhuoyu from Hong Kong in the semi-finals.

Two-time Olympic champion Axelsen from Denmark also advanced to the quarter-finals, defeating Su Liyang from the Chinese Taipei team 2-0. His opponent in the next round is Zhou Tiancheng from the Chinese Taipei team.
