November 3, 2024 Catherine Williams - Chief Editor Sports

Original title: The 6th “Nangong Cup” Staff Badminton Team Competition in Nanning, Guangxi opens

On November 2, Nanning City’s 6th “Nan Gong Cup” employees held the “Chinese Dream·Beauty of Labor—Concentrate their hearts and souls and follow the party on a new journey of unity and struggle” sponsored by the Guangxi Nanning Federation of Trade Unions and hosted by the Nanning Workers’ Cultural Palace. The badminton team competition opened at the Nanning Workers’ Cultural Palace Arena.

A total of 48 representative teams from various levels of trade unions in Nanning City participated in this competition, with more than 500 participants. The competition aims to implement the national fitness strategy, carry out in-depth cultural and sports activities with “work” characteristics, further stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit of Nanning employees and officials, and gather great strength to write a chapter of Chinese-style modern Nanning.

The atmosphere at the competition was lively. The participating employees were sweating, making quick smashes, or light lobs, sometimes quickly hitting the net, and sometimes closely following up for extra dunks. They demonstrated their badminton skills to the fullest and won bursts of applause and cheers from the audience. .

“This competition allows us to communicate with other fraternal units after our busy work. It not only improves our physical fitness, but also enhances the relationship between our colleagues. I hope we will have the opportunity to participate in more such competitions in the future. ” shared Chen Xian, a participating employee who had just finished the first game.

It is reported that this competition will have 84 games in 2 days to determine the final champion. (Worker Daily-China Industry Network reporter Pang Huimin, correspondent Jiang Jie)
