The 2024 National Badminton Individual Championships⁣ opened at the Liaoning Gymnasium on September 8, bringing together nearly 30 ​teams from across⁢ the country, with a total of over 1,000 athletes, coaches, and referees. This is the first time in 20 years that Shenyang has held the ​highest-level championship⁢ in the ⁤country. Badminton individual competition. Since ​September, the Liaoshen region has welcomed several heavyweight badminton events. The ⁢first National​ Fitness Competition (Northeast Region) badminton competition kicked⁢ off in⁤ Fuxin on September 7, with⁢ 144 ​athletes from Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang provinces competing fiercely in the three-day competition.⁢ The Benxi · Li Yongbo Badminton Open also opened in Benxi on the 7th, featuring 520 badminton players from 23 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and special administrative⁢ regions across the country.

The Liaoshen region has focused on promoting the integration of culture, sports, and⁤ tourism, allowing contestants and spectators to enjoy the game while also experiencing local customs. Li Yongbo,​ a ​meritorious Chinese badminton⁣ coach, said, “We hold this competition to give‌ full play to the positive impact of the event. Through ‘sports⁣ +’ and‌ ‘events +’, we will attract more tourists to Benxi to experience the charm of ‘China’s Maple Leaf Capital’ and promote the ​innovative integration of culture, sports, and tourism.”

The⁤ 2024‌ National Badminton Individual Championship Organizing Committee will provide convenience for participants and use the intermission period to organize free tours to Shenyang Strange Slope Scenic Area, Shenbei​ Qixing National Wetland Park, and other attractions. Athletes, coaches, referees, and others can also visit famous attractions such as the Shenyang Forbidden City for free with their participation certificates. Additionally, every time the audience purchases a ticket to watch the game, ⁤they will ⁣receive a ticket to the Shenyang Strange Slope Scenic Area.
