Veveyse ⁤college Students Help Design New Playground

Students at⁤ Veveyse college in Vevey, Switzerland, returned to school on Monday to a completely redesigned courtyard, a space they themselves helped create. The project, initiated in October 2023 and finalized in January 2024, prioritized student input‍ to build a more‍ inviting and functional outdoor area.

The new courtyard features numerous play areas,as well as dedicated spaces for students to meet⁤ and relax. responding to direct requests from the student body, the City of Vevey⁤ will collaborate with students this fall to plant trees and shrubs, further enhancing the revitalized space.
