Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien Announces Special Concert in France

Ed O’Brien, the guitarist and songwriter for Radiohead, has announced a solo tour titled An Evening With… Blue Morpho to support his upcoming second solo studio album.

The tour consists of seven dates across the UK and Europe, including a scheduled performance in Paris on October 8, 2026, at the Salle Pleyel.

Album Release and Musical Direction

The tour is designed to premiere O’Brien’s second solo opus, Blue Morpho, which is set for release on May 22, 2026.

The new record is described as spanning a variety of sonic landscapes, ranging from trip-hop to psych-folk, a versatility reflected in the album’s eponymous track.

Tour Details and Collaborators

For this limited series of concerts, O’Brien will be joined by a collective of musicians who contributed to the recording of the album.

Confirmed collaborators for the tour include ESKA and Dave Okumu. Okumu is recognized as the frontman of The Invisible and is an Austrian singer-songwriter and producer.

In addition to the Paris date on October 8, 2026, O’Brien plans to perform in the following cities:
