Meanwhile, Emma Raducanu is looking to potentially reclaim her position as the top-ranked British woman. Raducanu previously held the No. 1 spot after her 2021 US Open victory.
Despite the stakes, both players emphasize a healthy rivalry. “it’s nice in a way having something to chase,” Raducanu said, acknowledging Boulter’s current lead. She added that their relationship makes the competition “very healthy.”
