It is the only college of the University of London located in Surrey, just outside London.
It is one of the most memorable schools in my youth. I visited it once with my husband when I was stationed in Germany, so it was my first visit in 15 years.
I did my master’s degree at another college of the University of London (Queen Mary, University of London), so I was only enrolled in this university for a graduate diploma course, so I was only enrolled for a year, but even so, my life here was really fun and always a sparkling time.
On this day, we were sightseeing at nearby Windsor Castle, and my daughter had always said that she wanted to go to the school her mother attended, so we decided to drop by on the way back from Windsor Castle.
My daughter was also impressed by the Founders Building, the symbol of this university.
Built in 1881, this beautiful campus has been used as a location for many movies and TV dramas, including the Netflix drama “YOU,” “The Avengers,” and “Howards End.” In 2017,The most beautiful universities in the UK🇬🇧Apparently he was selected.
By the way, when I was a student, I remember that this Founders Building housed the dorms for undergraduates, the library, the medical room, etc. I was in a dormitory for postgraduates only, so I didn’t visit this building very often, but once while studying abroad, I got shingles and was treated and given medicine in the medical room in this building 💊 It’s a bitter memory 😅

My daughter found some flowers that had fallen from the flower bed. She looked so happy, so I couldn’t help but say,
The other buildings have been given a very beautiful and modern look.
The buildings around here are completely different from when I was there, so there’s no trace of them.
The Student Union was in the same place as before! But it was nicer. I remember it turned into a club on the weekends.
During my time at university, I spent the longest time in this International Building! It seems like most international students gather here.
My daughter traveled to the places that are memorable to her mother, tracing her memories from over 20 years ago. Thank you for always listening to my mother’s old stories with such interest and enjoyment😊✨♥️
We decided to go to another university where we completed our master’s degree sometime soon.
