The 3rd Heilongjiang Province Senior Citizens Sports and Fitness Conference Tennis Exchange Activity and the “Gujing Gongjiu·Year-old Original Liquor Gu 20 Cups” Tennis Tournament for Middle-aged and Elderly People, jointly sponsored by Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Bureau and Heilongjiang Provincial Senior Citizens Sports Association, hosted by Heilongjiang Provincial Ball Sports Management Center and Tennis Project Activity Department of Heilongjiang Provincial Senior Citizens Sports Association, co-organized by Heilongjiang Lilong Youth Tennis Club, title sponsored by Gujing Gongjiu·Year-old Original Liquor, and sponsored by Harbin Zhanxian Tennis Club, grandly opened in Harbin on September 12.
The event attracted nearly 200 outstanding players from 16 teams from various cities and regions in Heilongjiang Province, including senior sports associations, industry sports associations, tennis clubs, and related units. It was a gathering of masters and stars. During the three-day exchange competition, the players will have more than 140 friendly exchanges and fierce competitions in five events, including men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, guest doubles, and mixed teams. The top three teams will be awarded trophies and the top three teams will be awarded medals. In addition, there are also awards for the best organization and sports ethics and style awards to commend outstanding teams.
This event has been held for many consecutive years. With the joint efforts of all relevant parties and a large number of tennis enthusiasts, the number of participating teams and players has increased year by year, and the level of skills and competition organization has continued to improve, which is a gratifying development trend. It not only demonstrates the continued in-depth and high-quality development of tennis for the elderly in Heilongjiang but also reflects the spiritual outlook of the elderly in Heilongjiang in pursuit of a healthy, happy, and elegant life. Wang Zongzhang, former executive vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial People’s Congress and former chairman of the Heilongjiang Tennis Association, Li Feng, chairman of the Heilongjiang Senior Sports Association, Liu Shurui, executive vice chairman and secretary general, Zheng Wanzhu, vice chairman, Tian Jiaying, director of the tennis project activity department, Miao Hongda, deputy director of the Heilongjiang Ball Sports Management Center, Yin Guohui, deputy director of the Heilongjiang Tennis Special Committee, Guan Fuyuan, secretary general of the tennis project work department of the Heilongjiang Senior Sports Association, Huang Haibin, general manager of Heilongjiang Gujing Gongjiu Sales Co., Ltd., Zhang Kai, general manager of the branch, Wang Shanying, general manager of Harbin Lilong Development Co., Ltd., Han Lili, general manager of Harbin Zhanxian Tennis Club, and other leaders attended the opening ceremony. Li Feng and Huang Haibin delivered speeches in succession, Wang Zongzhang announced the opening of the event, and Tian Jiaying presided over the opening ceremony.
