The 2024 “BoDa Cup” Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone Employees Badminton League successfully concluded on August 31 at the Jinfeng University Gymnasium. A total of 36 teams and nearly 400 employees participated in the event.
The competition was co-organized by the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions, the Social Affairs Bureau, and the Youth League Committee, and hosted by Beijing Goldwind Sports Culture Co., Ltd.
Themed “Contribute to the New Era and Get the Enterprise Moving”, the competition adopted a mixed team competition system and set up three events: women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles. The players showcased their skills and teamwork, with impressive moves such as penalty kicks, spikes, jump kills, net interceptions, and backcourt lobs, earning applause and cheers from the audience.
After a day of fierce competition, Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. won the ”Boda Cup” championship trophy, while the Labor Union of Hollysys Technology Group and Beijing Jingdong Century Trading Co., Ltd. secured second and third place, respectively.
The organizing committee arranged for a live broadcast of the event to stimulate employee enthusiasm and increase participation. “We had special photographers capturing the event from multiple angles, allowing more badminton enthusiasts to feel the heat and passion of the competition,” said the event organizer.
The goal of the badminton league was to enrich employees’ spare time, improve their physical fitness, enhance communication and cooperation between enterprises, and create a healthy, harmonious, and vibrant Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, according to a relevant person in charge of the Economic and Technological Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions.
