Ram Trucks Set to Make NASCAR Truck Series Return in 2026

Ram Trucks is gearing up to rejoin the NASCAR Truck Series in 2026, marking its return to the racing circuit after more than a decade. The proclamation was made Sunday before the Cup Series event at Michigan International Speedway. This move will see Ram, now under Stellantis, compete against Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota.
The brand enjoyed previous success in the truck Series, securing three manufacturers’ championships between 2001 and 2004. Drivers Bobby Hamilton (2004) and Ted Musgrave (2005) also clinched driver titles during Ram’s earlier stint, when it was largely under Dodge ownership.The last time a new truck joined the series was in 2004 with the Toyota Tundra; Ram last participated in NASCAR in 2013.
NASCAR anticipates that Ram will aggressively pursue a strong team to represent the brand.John Probst, NASCAR executive vice president and chief racing development officer, noted the meaning of a new manufacturer entering the sport.
