“Al-Sit Mona Lisa” centers around the character of Mona Lisa, who relocates to Cairo in pursuit of a better life. However, her journey is quickly complicated by a series of pressures and conflicts that lead her down a dangerous path, involving criminal activity and complex relationships. The series also airs on MBC Egypt, broadcasting at 5:00 PM local time, extending its reach beyond the streaming platform.
“Hey Kimia” Secures Second Place
Following closely behind is “Hey Kimia,” which has landed in the number two spot on Shahid’s list of most-watched Ramadan series. The series features a cast led by Mostafa Gharib, Mohamed Diab, Michelle Milad, and Mohsen Mansour, and is directed by Islam Khairy.
The narrative revolves around Diab’s character, the non-biological brother “Hajjaj al-Qat,” who operates in the drug trade. This sets the stage for a tense dynamic with his brother, “Sultan,” particularly after a murder occurs, escalating the conflict. “Hajjaj” enlists his brother’s help in manufacturing drugs, forcing “Sultan” to confront difficult ethical choices.
