The Saudi artist Rashed AlMajed has arrived in Jeddah ahead of his highly anticipated concert at the Jeddah Superdome on April 24, 2026, marking his first major public performance following a health setback earlier in the year.
Video footage shared by Saudi media outlet صحيفة المرصد shows AlMajed arriving in Jeddah while leaning on a cane, underscoring his ongoing recovery after canceling a previously scheduled concert in Riyadh due to health concerns.
The concert, organized with Rotana as the artistic supervisor, will feature AlMajed performing alongside a musical band led by Walid Fayed. It is being promoted as a significant cultural event, described by Rotana as an “exceptional night” that fans have eagerly awaited.
Ticket sales for the event began on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 5 PM Saudi time via the WeBook platform. Tickets are available in six categories, with prices ranging from 345 Saudi Riyals for the Bronze tier to 2,875 Saudi Riyals for the Royal category, reflecting varying seating locations and experiences.
AlMajed’s return to the stage coincides with the release of new music, including the song “Saba’ wa Aswad,” a collaboration with Rotana written by AlOlya and composed by Ahmed AlHarmi. He also recently released “One,” a duet with artist Sahm created to celebrate the marriage of Prince Turki bin Salman, and “Salemeen,” a duet with Ahmed AlHarmi written and composed by Mohammad AlKhaja.
The Jeddah Superdome concert represents AlMajed’s first large-scale appearance since his health emergency, which prompted widespread concern among fans across Saudi Arabia and the Arab world. His arrival in Jeddah has been met with public interest, signaling a strong anticipation for his return to live performance after months of absence.
With over three decades of influence in Gulf music, AlMajed remains one of the most celebrated voices in the region. His upcoming performance is positioned not only as a personal comeback but also as a notable moment in the Kingdom’s spring entertainment calendar, drawing attention for both its artistic and cultural significance.
