Raymond James Plans ETF Platform Launch in 2025

Raymond James Investment Management, managing $102.7 billion in assets, will launch an exchange-traded fund (ETF) platform in 2025. The firm appointed Mo Sparks, previously a New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) director, as head of exchange-traded funds, effective July 22.
Sparks brings nearly 15 years of experience in ETF product advancement, management, and distribution. Before joining raymond James, he spearheaded new business development for ETFs at the NYSE. He also held product management and strategy leadership roles at The Vanguard Group, overseeing global ETF and mutual fund products.

Over the past five years, Sparks has advised more than 125 asset management firms on launching and growing their ETF businesses. He also oversaw the creation and operation of ETF Central, a website for ETF investors and advisors.
The ETF platform will broaden Raymond James’ existing product suite,which includes mutual funds,separately managed accounts,and institutional mandates.The firm has expanded its asset manager lineup through acquisitions,including Scout Investments,Reams Asset Management,Eagle Asset Management,ClariVest Asset Management,Cougar Global Investments,and Chartwell investment Partners.
