Three brothers, including two prominent New York City luxury real estate brokers, have been convicted on federal sex trafficking charges following a trial in New York.
Tal and Oren Alexander, who were previously known in the industry as The A Team
for their success in high-end real estate, were convicted alongside their brother, Alon Alexander.
The conviction followed a trial where 11 women testified that the brothers used drugs and violence to rape numerous victims. A jury began deliberating the fate of the three men on March 5, 2026, and the conviction was reported on March 9, 2026.
Details of the Federal Charges
The brothers were arrested in Miami on December 11, 2024, on federal charges stemming from Manhattan. According to the indictment, the men conspired to repeatedly and violently drug, sexually assault and rape dozens of women
over a period of more than a decade.

The trafficking scheme is alleged to have operated from at least 2010 to 2021. Prosecutors stated the operation relied on deception, fraud and coercion
to target victims.
The brothers utilized their professional positions to lure women into the scheme:
- Oren and Tal Alexander used their influence as prominent luxury real estate agents.
- Alon Alexander used his position as an executive at a family-owned private security firm.
The defendants allegedly used their wealth to induce women to attend luxury trips, parties, and events. Prosecutors noted that the brothers shared photographs of women in advance to ensure they were sufficiently attractive
before organizing these trips.
Methods of Recruitment and Operation
The indictment revealed that the brothers used social media and dating apps to contact potential victims. In other instances, they employed party planners to act as intermediaries.
Once lured to these events or trips, the victims were allegedly drugged and assaulted. U.S. Attorney Damian Williams described the crimes as heinous
during a press conference on December 11, 2024.
While the brothers presented a public image of professional elite success—with Tal Alexander once stating in a business context that he did not want an army of agents
but rather an SAS team
—the legal proceedings detailed a long-running criminal enterprise.
