The Edgartown select board greenlit a filming permit for the unnamed show on November 25th, with production scheduled for December 6th through 8th. While details remain under wraps,Joseph Azarian,an executive producer at Next Entertainment Television LLC,shared some exciting tidbits.
“they’re basically a group of really aspiring 30-somethings,” Azarian revealed in an interview. “They’re living in Boston, living that glamorous, awesome life. They’ve made a name for themselves in the worlds of fashion, lifestyle and also just regular old business.”
The show promises an authentic, fly-on-the-wall experience, with a crew capturing the group’s weekend getaway using handheld cameras.
“The group is going on a weekend getaway, and we thought Edgartown would be a super fun place to do that, to kind of celebrate the holidays…” Azarian explained. “we’re definitely going to be checking out a lot of different places that are super Martha’s Vineyard – we really want to show off the Island.”
Next Entertainment Television LLC,a Boston-based production company,is behind the project. Their previous reality show, ”This Is Family,” enjoyed three prosperous seasons on Amazon Prime Video, offering a behind-the-scenes look at Azarian’s own family.
