Strengthening Bilateral Relations: ⁤Burundi’s Presidential Couple Arrives ‌in China

Warmly⁢ welcomed in China, the President and First​ Lady of Burundi arrived for the Sino-African Forum, with the aim ‌of strengthening bilateral relations.

Beijing, China – September 3, 2024 – As part of Sino-Burundian cooperation, the‍ presidential couple of Burundi, HE ⁣Ndayubaha Angéline, First Lady of Burundi, and HE Ndayishimiye Evariste, Major General, President of Burundi, accompanied by Mr. Shingiro Albert, the outstanding Burundian ‌Minister for Foreign Affairs, were ⁢warmly welcomed by Chinese officials, including Ms. Zhao JiangPing, Chinese Ambassador to Burundi, as well as by the Chinese people. The⁣ presidential couple will participate in the Forum ‌on China-Africa Cooperation, scheduled for ⁣September 4-6, 2024. China, one of the founding members​ of BRICS +, is a key player in the new multipolar world order, seeking to write⁣ a new ​page in international trade, especially with its New Silk Roads.
