Chinese social media platform RedNote, also known‌ as Xiaohongshu, has inaugurated its‍ inaugural office ‍outside mainland ‍China in Hong Kong. This strategic move, ‍according‌ to Hong ‌Kong’s Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po, is anticipated to invigorate local enterprises and propel the platform’s ‌global expansion⁢ efforts.

Chan ​stated he extended a personal invitation to the ​company to establish ⁢a presence in the city. During a visit to Xiaohongshu’s Shanghai headquarters late last year, ‌Chan said he was impressed by the ⁤team’s innovation and invited them to use Hong Kong as a‍ base for international‍ business ‌growth.
