Five people, including the captain, were rescued from the sunken yacht, but Aline and Beatrice went missing and were found dead on the shore about a week later.
The police said they are investigating whether this accident was a simple accident or was caused by negligence.

According to local media such as The Global New Light of Myanmar, Moe Sanai visited a waterfall with a friend that day and took pictures. Moe Sanai died after getting caught between rocks while trying to pull up a friend who slipped in the middle of a waterfall.
Rescue workers were dispatched after receiving the report, but he had already died.
U Myat Koh, a local fire department employee, said, “Even after we found the body, it was stuck between rocks to the extent that we could not pull it out. We used a rope to retrieve the body the next morning and moved it to a nearby hospital.”
However, Moe Sanai and his friend who was with him only suffered minor bruising.
