According to foreign media reports such as the UK’s Daily Mail on the 29th (local time), influencers Alin Tamara Moreira de Amorim (37) and Baitress Tavares da Silva Faria (27), who were enjoying a yacht party, fell into Brazil’s ‘Devil’s Throat’ ( He drowned in a place known as Devil’s Throat.

Local police said that they had an accident when they encountered a large wave on their way back from a yacht party. Additionally, the investigation revealed that the two people who died suffered this fate because they refused to wear life jackets.

A police official announced, “It was discovered that one person refused to wear a life jacket to take a photo, and another person refused to wear a life jacket to get a suntan.” It was also said that the boat could only accommodate a maximum of 5 people, but at the time of the accident, there were 6 people on board and the boat was overloaded.

Five people, including the captain, were rescued from the sunken yacht, but Aline and Beatrice went missing and were found dead on the shore about a week later.

The police said they are investigating whether this accident was a simple accident or was caused by negligence.

Previously, a teenage influencer died while taking a ‘certification shot’

Prior to this, influencers who went to dangerous places to take proof shots or video lost their lives in unfortunate accidents.

On July 29 (local time), the British daily Mirror reported that Moe Sanai (14), an influencer who was active on the video platform TikTok, died after slipping on a rock at Sinyiwa Waterfall in Phaung Town, Myanmar, on the 21st.

According to local media such as The Global New Light of Myanmar, Moe Sanai visited a waterfall with a friend that day and took pictures. Moe Sanai died after getting caught between rocks while trying to pull up a friend who slipped in the middle of a waterfall.

Rescue workers were dispatched after receiving the report, but he had already died.

U Myat Koh, a local fire department employee, said, “Even after we found the body, it was stuck between rocks to the extent that we could not pull it out. We used a rope to retrieve the body the next morning and moved it to a nearby hospital.”

However, Moe Sanai and his friend who was with him only suffered minor bruising.
