The Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority (RDA) is establishing a new nonprofit land development entity to identify, acquire, and remediate parcels for redevelopment in Lake and Porter counties, with a three-member board of directors expected to be appointed by the end of January 2026.
Purpose of the New Entity
The land development entity will focus on preparing sites for future economic development projects throughout the region. This initiative is a key component of the RDA’s recently adopted 20-year strategic plan.
